Lane Herrick wins at today's Spring Series Race (4/18/04). Today's event featured 70 strong riders with many of the favorites present to win. All of the break away attempts failed and coming into the final meters, Lane sitting on the wheel of Alex Gulla at over 35 mph, put his power to the pedals and sprinted around Alex and other cyclists to hold off for the win.
This makes 2 wins for Lane Herrick in this early spring season.
