Our women’s team is getting ready for the 2005 season. We’re only at midway point in March and Sarah and Evelyn already toed the line for their first race of the season on March 5, at the Tour de Lion in Newark, NJ and achieved their respective race objectives. On March 6, Paulette, Sarah and Evelyn also represented the team at the Spin Odyssey fundraising event for breast cancer research in Westport, CT (see picture below). On March 13, the women’s team got together with coach, Deirdre Murphy Bader to hone their racing skills and gel as a team for the season. April will see the team take on the Tour de Ephrata, a 2 day stage race in Lancaster, PA on the April 16 & 17, and the Bear Mountain Classic at Harriman State Park on April 30.
