Chris Jones won our first race of the year this past Sunday April 2nd, 2006 in Bethel, CT. With a pretty competitive field, Jones initiated a break with Robert Giannini of Sakkonet, then rode him off his wheel to solo win while lapping the field. Jones currently sits in 5th position in the points series and if he wins again this coming Sunday April 9th, he could win or tie for 1st for the entire series.
Other great news - Jared Bunde, our most consistent top 5 finisher managed another 5th place finish amongst a pretty fast/hard Pro/1/2/3 field this past weeked at Prospect Park. And Chris Chaput managed to hang on to 6th place in the category 3/4 race in South Mountain, New Jersey.
