The “best of the rest” were in attendance with a large field of riders who did not get into the coveted Invitational event on the same day, Mt. Holly Smithville, making this event also difficult to get a result.

JP Kiminski launched a great sprint to produced 5th overall while Scott Snyder was active trying to get into the “break” of the day.

Kiminski, the newest Champion System addition to the roster coming aboard in June, 2006, Kiminski placed 3rd in the field sprint as 2 riders were away in a break.

New York City area racing field sprints are know around the world as fast, dangerous, scary with lots of bumping and tactics involved and JP was the highest placed Category 3 rider in the field along with the only 2 guys to beat him in the field sprint are well known sprinters.
